The full illustration was made in Adobe Illustrator. I wanted to create something that could be used almost as a pattern while leaving plenty of white space for text. The artwork enters and exits into the various pieces of collateral I developed to achieve a feeling of connectivity that goes beyond the boarder of the page.
This 5"x7" folded invitation was designed to be printed and mailed with a vellum insert that featured event sponsors.
Posters for the event were designed to be printed and distributed around town in storefronts, bus stops, and bulletin boards. They needed to be bold and eye-catching to pull your attention from everything else going on around you.
Leading up to the event, I was asked to modify the artwork to fit on a large poster that could be hung on the stage backdrop with the Turlock Community Theatre logo. This involved making adjustments to the colors and layout so the illustration could be seen from all angles of the audience area.
